Hallo Ralf,

I recently received hundreds of disks from Robert Leyland, programmer of Murder on the Zinderneuf, The Dragon's Eye, AtariArtist, KoalaPainter, Micro Illustrator, and several related graphics programs. I have been methodically imaging the disks. The disks contain assembly language source code, including backups and multiple versions, and for multiple systems. In addition, the disks contain various utilities that Island Graphics used to create these programs, and a few unreleased programs.
I have received permission to share the source code. In order to do that, I want to put together a small team of people who can work together to go through the disks, determine what’s there, find and choose the “best” version of each program, see if we can get it to compile, before I release the source code. So far I have imaged 168 disks, with perhaps another 75 to go.
I need people who know some assembly language and how to compile things (seems like they used Atari Macro Assembler and Mac/65. Maybe some Forth), who won’t get overwhelmed by a large number of competing versions to go through.
Let me know if you are interested in helping or can recommend someone who can. I think the project could take a few weeks.
There is software for Atari 8-bit, Commodore 64, and Commodore TED. I’m mainly asking for Atari people here, but if anyone wants to tackle the Commodore stuff, that would be amazing also.
